What makes the Andersen Water Hog mat so different from other mats on the market?
The Andersen Water Hog Mat has become the most recognized entrance mat for industrial, commercial and residential use. Due to the "raised" pattern of Waterhog mats, the entry mats effectively scrape shoes clean of dirt, debris, snow and water. Waterhog mats feature a "water dam" border that holds up to 1.5 gallons of water. Water Hog floor mats have an anti-static polypropylene/polyester surface that dries quickly and will not fade or rot. The Waterhog Entrance Mat is the perfect entrance mat for both indoor and outdoor placement.
The Andersen Waterhog Mat line features the Waterhog Classic and the Waterhog Eco Mat lines. The weight of Water Hog Classic mats are 24 oz/sq yard of solution-dyed polypropylene fabric. The weight of Water Hog Eco Mats are 30 oz/sq yard (Eco Berber is 45 oz/sq yd) of 100% post-consumer recycled PET polyester fabric reclaimed from drink bottles. The smooth or cleated rubber backing of both the Waterhog Classic Mats and Waterhog Eco Mats are made of 20% recycled car tires with the exception of the new Eco Select mat which is made of 100% recycled crumb rubber for the mat backing.
